Who We Are
We are a grass roots group from West Michigan, called to help the homeless, orphaned children in the Democratic Republic of Congo. We are moved by the compassion of Christophe Muganza, a refugee from the DRC, now U.S. citizen, to provide life’s necessities to the neediest children of Kalehe, Congo…Christophe’s hometown.
In January 2021, Christophe returned to the village from which he was forced to flee in 2008. After 13-years away from the village, he was saddened to see orphaned children living without family, shelter or basic needs. Christophe committed to serving the most vulnerable of the village children. Leveraging relationships with local organizations and leaders, Christophe’s Children directly supports the children and provides food, shelter, clothing, healthcare and education.
Our mission is to provide hope and critical needs to the orphaned children of Kalehe, Congo.
